AUDIO & VIDEO ESSAYS
I made the two-part (but theoretically open-ended) Lesson Plans for Soundproof, a wonderful radio art program in Australia. These pieces attempt to transpose somatics work from studio to audio.

LESSON PLANS: Resting on the ocean floor
The second of two audio essays that translate some of the image work from the Body, Mind & Image class that I co-taught with K.J. Holmes at Movement Research (NYC 2015) to a private listening and practicing experience. Resting on the ocean floor offers a sink into the parasympathetic nervous system, with a little William James for extra delight and fluidity.

LESSON PLANS: A circular process we can call seeing
The first of the Body, Mind, and Image translations, A Circular Process We Call Seeing works on the optic nerve and the bones around the eye, creating an experiential container for experiencing sight as something not reaching out into space but moving from the front to the back of the skull.
